The Videx VX2200 digital system is the most “versatile” system in the range, because it is flexible enough to cater for a variety of installations: from 1 way systems to larger systems that include a maximum of 1000 apartments.

This system uses a 2 wire common bus for audio installations and 6 wires for audio and video installations. Outdoor stations can be selected from the 4000 series, 8000 series, VR4K series, VRDigital, VR120 series and KR-AV series. Traditional speaker units are available with functional to digital interfaces allowing individual call buttons for each apartment or digital panels for larger systems.

Digital panels can also operate as an access control device allowing 1000 individual codes (1 code per apartment), while the 4212 Series digital panels have an built-in proximity reader for local use allowing one or more proximity keys per apartment, or by using the Wiegand output the reader can be connected to the Portal Plus access control system or a thrid party controller. Other features include voice annunciation (via an internal speech board) and visual guidance (via the digital display) thereby helping the user with the call progress and system operation.

The programming of these digital panels can be carried out through their onboard keypad or via PC programming software (SP37 PC programming kit for the 4000 series digital, 8000 series digital, VRDigital range and the 4212PK PC programming kit for the 4212 series digital range).

Indoor apartment units can be selected from a wide range of internal audio intercoms and videophones, including: 3000, 5000, 6200, 6300, 6400, 6700 and Kristallo Series (both audio and video). A full range of accessories are available for the system including the digital IP concierge (CSW2220 IP concierge PC software and client server), extension sounders, bus relays and block exchange devices.
