VR4K Series Speaker Modules (4G GSM)

The VR4KGSM series audio speaker module is a functional 4G GSM 2 way speech amplifier (150/4G)* module. It features a Vandal Resistant 2.5mm thick, 12 gauge, 316 vertically brushed stainless steel fascia with an IK09 impact protection rating and an IP55 ingress protection rating. It is compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks.

The 4G GSM module enables a call to be made from an entry point (door, gate etc), to any telephone number (mobile or land line). Up to 4 telephone numbers can be programmed per call button (1 primary number and 3 divert numbers). It also includes a dial-to-open feature (up to 1000 stored numbers and 32 temporary numbers) whereby a stored telephone number can dial into the 4G GSM module where the module will not answer the call, but will activate the built-in door/gate relay without the user being charged for the call.

It can be programmed remotely via text messages, via the GSM Cloud management platform, via GSM mobile apps (SMS Wizard for administrators/users or the SMS Wizard Pro for installers/engineers) or via the GSMSK PC software using the “over-the-air” feature. The GSMSK PC software can also be used locally to program the 4G GSM module via a laptop using the micro-USB input.

The 4G GSM speaker modules are available with 0, 1, 2, 3 buttons or 1 button + nameplate. The modules are equipped with DDA compliant call progress LED’s: speak, busy and door open as well as call reassurance tones. Optional DDA compliant, high contrasting call buttons with yellow bezel are also available.

They are a robust modular design that are compatible with the popular 4000 Series surface and flush back boxes.

*The 4G GSM module requires a nano size SIM card in order to function.
