MiAccess Readers

MiAccess access readers are available in a panel mount resin potted version, a matt black finish (MTPXBK-MF-SA) and also in a flush white (DINMTPXW-MF-SA), silver (DINMTPXS-MF-SA) or grey (DINMTPXC-MF-SA) finish. The surface readers have resin potted electronics giving them protection against the elements and allowing them to be mounted externally, however they can be mounted internally if desired. The flush readers can only be mounted internally.

A 4000 series (4849MI) in a mirror stainless steel or matt 316 grade stainless steel (/M) finish and also a VR4K series (VR4KMI) MiAccess reader are available, both of which are compatible with the full range of 4000 series surface and flush back boxes. An 8000 series reader is available, 8849MI, and is compatible with the full range of 8000 series surface and flush back boxes. Also a Vandal Resistant panel mount MiAccess reader (VRMI) is available for the VR120 series, VR130 series and bespoke Vandal Resistant panels.

All readers can be programmed and configured directly using the PROA-MS or PROH-MS PC management software (available to download for free from https://software.videxservices.uk) using the micro-USB connection on the back of the reader. MiAccess fobs and cards are initally registered via the USB desktop reader (PROX-USB) connected to a laptop or PC and then the fob and card data along with reader configuration can be uploaded to the MiAccess reader.
