VR4K Series Codelock Modules
There are two optional VR4K series codelock modules available, both of which have blue backlit keypad buttons to assist the partially sighted. These codelock modules are able to operate as a standalone keypad or can be incorporated as part of a VIDEX audio or video door entry system.
The VR4901 codelock which is completely standalone has 3 relays and can be programmed with 1 code per relay (3 programmable access codes in total). It also has programmable relay times of 01 – 99 seconds or programmed with 00 for latching ‘toggle’ mode. It also features 2 switched 0V PTE inputs (to operate relay 1 and 2 only). Codes can be between 4-8 digits in length.
The VR4902 codelock can operate as a standalone keypad or can be networked with other VR4902 codelocks via an RS485 bus (using a 1052 controller). The Rs485 bus can also be used to connect with the 2813 remote relay module. This codelock has 2 programmable relays that can be programmed with up to 1000 codes where the access codes can be set to activate relay 1, relay 2 or both relays. It also has programmable relay times of 001 – 255 seconds or programmed with 000 for latching ‘toggle’ mode. It also features 2 switched 0V PTE inputs (1 PTE input per relay). Codes can be between 4-8 digits in length.
Like other modules in the VR4K series they are compatible with the popular 4000 Series surface and flush back boxes.
